Welcome to Chez Pair! I’m Dawn, and I’ll be your host on this little blog. I’m currently staying at home, which leaves me no end of blog entries. In my old life I worked in higher education, which you can read about here, too… When I began this blog (actually, it’s predecessor) back in 2006, I had two kids. Now, there are three. But I don’t think I’m going to move. I just got this place to where I like it.

The cast of Characters:

Bring The Noise, Bring The Funk:

Noise: So named because he is never, ever silent. Loves Star Wars, reading, music and percussion, talking and singing. Turning 7 in June.

Funk: So named because she was always sick as a baby and toddler. She never stops moving or talking, and is always dancing. 5 in February.

Squeak: He is the first mischievious and rambunctious kid we’ve had. If he’d been first, he’d have been last. 2 in March.

Hubs: We started making out in 1999. He’s an elected official. He’s had the same haircut for 25 years.
