Welcome to Chez Pair! I’m Dawn, and I’ll be your host on this little blog. I’m an academic advisor at a major university, which leaves me no end of blog entries. I write about my job, my butthole, and my family. Some days these three things are all strikingly similar. When I began this blog (actually, it’s predecessor) back in 2006, I had two kids. Now, I’m waiting for my third. But I don’t think I’m going to move. I just got this place to where I like it.

The cast of Characters:

Bring The Noise, Bring The Funk:

Noise: So named because he is never, ever silent. Loves music and percussion, talking and singing. Turning 5 in June.

Funk: So named because she is always sick, and always dancing. The girl never stops moving. 3 in February.

Snoodle: Pair #3. He’s without a nickname of his own. Namely, because he not here yet. Due in March. Let’s hope he makes it that far, the little porker.

Hubs: We started making out in 1999. He’s an elected official. He’s had the same haircut for 25 years.
