Well, then how did you find out about it?

“I heard him telling her AAALLLLLL about it.”

I can’t possibly do justice to how funny this was. Something about the inflection, the dramatic recounting of the fabled bug in the ear, and the eyebrow emphasis. I damn near peed myself, and if I’d heard it in my delicate condition three weeks ago, I definitely would have.
