Apparently I misread this and took it for a shopping list of things to buy as contaminated as possible. I have purchased seven of the top 12 in the last week, non-organically. Some of them I may have consumed without even washing them. Because I’m a strawberry whore like that.
Yeesh!
At least it’s reducing the amount of processed foods I’m feeding the kids?

Okay, one more thing to worry about – THANKS A LOT! Still not as disturbing as the ad on the sidebar of the link for “Asian Girls Looking for Marriage.” No, I am NOT kidding!

Try cruising the farmer’s markets. I know in my area, fruits and vegetables sold at farmer’s markets have to be grown organically and are usually much cheaper than buying from Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods.

@ Jessica: of course you are not kidding. The Adsense ads on my site are a constant source of awe and amusement to me.
Google supposedly matches the ads to my site’s content, and they say they try to place ads that would be actually “useful” to my readers. Ha. Looking at those ads, I’m not so sure they’re doing such a great job.
Re: things to worry about, yes, there are plenty of those. A blog that I frequent published an article yesterday about cancer-causing sunscreens. So there. We live in a scary world.
