Also, what does it mean that roughly 1/3 of my blogroll are or used to be Mormon women? (Meaning that they used to be Mormon, not that they used to be women. These are not answers I am in possession of.) Does it mean that Mormon women blog a disproportionate amount? Or that I love the Mormon women a disproportionate amount? (This might be true.) That I share many a Mormon woman’s sense of humor? (Except for the cursing and the drinking?)
Remind me to tell you the story about how I lived 100 feet away from the Missionary Training Center at BYU for an entire, dry, hot-as-hell Utah summer. And they could tell I wasn’t Mormon. So they kept trying to convert me really nicely. I think I might have been their homework? That was a bizarre summer.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Since I’m Mormon, too, and I don’t even know you, I’m gonna say it’s the sense of humor.

Yeah, don’t forget Jesus, Dawn!
I think that it’s that…
1. I think you have a little soft spot for us, seeing as though you worked and lived at BYU.
2. You agree with a lot of the moral beliefs that we have (family, compassion, etc.)
3. The sense of humor.
4. And we’re just really likable people! (well, at least most of us are!)
And when you tell the story about the missionaries trying to convert you really nicely, also tell about the Mormon guy who tried to pick you up in the bar!

Beats me, but I do think it’s kind of cool that this blogging lark lets us meet people who are so very unlike ourselves. LDS welcome at my blog! Except — look out for all the immorality and cussing and stuff.

As neither a Mormon, nor a former Mormon, I am touched you read my non-Mormon blog. Perhaps I could blog more about the Mormons I was friends with in high school…
